An Architect’s Dream – A Cooper Chapel Elopement

With the arching wooden beams, the floor to ceiling glass, the stone flooring – Cooper Chapel is an architect’s dream elopement venue. Elle is studying architecture out of state, but when she found The Mildred B Cooper Chapel online she knew it was the perfect venue for her and Ben to begin their forever together. She said it was the window at the front of the chapel that really drew her attention.

I absolutely love how unique every story is. Not many couples are ready for marriage at 20 & 21 (that’s how old Cory and I were), and even less couples can say that they began dating in middle school. Elle and Ben can.

My Two Favorite Things About This Cooper Chapel Elopement

  1. Private Vows: Ben and Elle had a private first look with just myself present, and then chose that time to share their personal vows. No pressure, no expectations, free to feel their emotions and speak from the heart.
  2. Family Only: Neither Elle nor Ben are from Arkansas. Everyone who was present at the wedding had to travel to be there (which is a whole other topic of amazing support and love). They kept their guest list short which meant less people needing to travel, but also less people to be in front of. If you aren’t comfortable being the center-of-attention (I’m not either!) then a smaller guest list is definitely the way to go.
