2021 – A Year In Review

What. A. Year.

I know the word “blessed” can be over used, but man oh man do I feel it. I will never underestimate the trust and faith that is placed in me when asked to photograph a wedding. I get to be a part of the tiny, intimate moments, the grand celebrations, the pauses and waiting, the suspense and anticipation, the overflows of joy, and the moments of precious remembrance. No wedding looks the same, or is treated the same, as the last. And each and every one leaves me humbled and grateful to have been a part of.

In 2021 I photographed 33 weddings and between Cory and I we took nearly 48,000 wedding photos. This doesn’t even take into account all the engagements, families, newborns, and photos of our own kids. We photographed weddings in Bentonville, Bella Vista, Springdale, Huntsville, Siloam Springs, Cave Springs, Fort Smith, Mulberry, and more.

Being a Northwest Arkansas Wedding Photographer is one of my greatest joys. There is an abundance of talent in this area and I am honored to be counted among them, to be challenged by my peers, to be encouraged by this industry as a whole. I’ve seen myself grow as an artist. I’ve learned to feel deeper and hold tighter. I’ve learned to pause and let things be, and I’ve learned to use my experience to guide and encourage my couples.

I can’t wait to see the beauty and growth that 2022 will bring. But for now, enjoy 189 wedding highlights from 2021.
